Sunday Preview: Beauty and the Beast

Beginning with last year's Cinderella in , Disney has recently been on a kick of re-making its animated classics in live-action. 

The next remake slated to hit theaters is Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens in the title roles. 

I'm actually cautiously optimistic about this one. Beauty and the Beast is one of the greats, and this new version looks to be a shot-by-shot remake of the original. Putting aside the "why" question, the good thing is that this movie will have the benefit of the excellent love story and the timeless score by Alan Menken behind it.
