Why 'Home Alone' is Really the Best Christmas Movie

For anyone who knows me, it should be no surprise that one of my favorite Christmas movies is Home Alone. 

In fact, in recent years, it's become my favorite Christmas movie, the one that I keep returning to each Christmas. 

It wasn't until I read a spirited defense of Christmas Vacation as the best holiday movie that I realized just how much I loved Home Alone and how I think it really does capture the essence of the season the best.
