A Book Lover's Dream Come True
For the past eight years, NPR has, towards the end of the year, created an online app called the "Book Concierge" that is a spectacularly visual guide of the year's best books, chosen by NPR staff.
This year's Book Concierge, released this week, is no different. The host to a whopping 309 books, all searchable by genre or type, with easy access to why the book is recommended and a way to find the title online, at the independent bookstore, or your local library.
And if, for some reason, 300 books is not enough for you, you can link to all eight previous Book Concierges, archived for your convenience.
So, what are you waiting for? Get reading!
And let me know what you think of the list! Is there anything on here that you absolutely recommend? What about books that you don't think should have made it?
